1st Chipping Sodbury Scout Group

Start Times will be available from end of Monday 3rd October

The Sodbury Challenge is an overnight orienteering exercise held in the Sodbury/Rangeworthy area of South Gloucestershire. The event is open to all Scouts and Explorers within the District aged between 10 and 18. The Challenge is broken down into two sections, A and B, with the winning team in each section being the team gaining the most points on the night. This years event will take place on Saturday 8th October 2011.

SECTION A (Scout sections only): - A five hour night exercise for teams of 3 - 5 members all under 14 years old on the night of the exercise. First team out at 6.00pm

SECTION B (Scouts Sections): - An eight hour exercise with the first team out at 10.00pm for teams of 3 - 5 scouts of any age up to 18 years old on the night.

SECTION C (Explorer Sections): - An eight hour exercise with the first team out at 10.00pm for teams of 3 - 5 explorers of any age up to 18 years old on the night.

N.B. If you have a team of scouts all under 14 years old they may enter either the five or eight hour exercise, but if any member is over 14 years old they can only enter the eight hour exercise.
