New Website Coming Soon

Things have been very quiet here for the past few months. The reason for this is this website is going to be replaced with a new site in a few months time. This new site is taking up a lot of time so there will only be programme updates on the old site until the new site is ready. The new site will be a vast improvement on what we have at the moment with a lot more room for expansion for new features to be added over time. You can get a sneaky peak at the new site by looking at the two images below.

The new site will have a lot of new features and improvements the first set of which are:

There will be more information to follow, for the time being here are a couple of preview images.

Buckstone Camp 2010

The photos from the Buckstone Scout camp are now available. During the camp we saw the start of a car rally followed by a walk from Symonds Yat down to the river to have a look at the location of the next camp then back up the hill. On the Sunday we did a spot of backwoods cooking.

Frost Camp - Pennwood
Friday 27th November - Sunday 29th November

Frost camp turned out to be more rain than frost. The main activity on the Saturday was a hike around a part of the Cotswold Escarpment.

Cycling Camp - Tintern
Friday 23rd October - Sunday 25th October

Cycling camp this year was a very wet weekend but luckily for us it did stop for the cycle ride itself. We went to the Frost of Dean and did the family trail and then did some off-roading on the FODCA trail. On Saturday evening we had our Ginger Nut taste test (to settle an argument) which decided that the cheaper ones were better than the big brands. On the Sunday we did a bit more cycling around the site before packing up and heading home to the dry
