1st Chipping Sodbury Scout Group

Over the past year or so the group of explorers have been involved in a huge number of fundraising events to raise money to help to pay for their expedition to Nepal in Easter 2009. The group fundraising that has taken place has included a Race Night, Motocross Marshalling, Car Washes, Marquee Hires, Coffee Mornings, Bag Packing, helping out with set up & cooking at the Beer Festival and a Bingo Night. Also there has been a lot of individual fundraising including a sponsored cycle ride and various other activities.

These fundraising events have not just been a good way to raise funds for the expedition but has also allowed those taking part to get to know each other and work as a team. Below are a selection of photo albums which cover some of the events that have taken place over the past few months.
