1st Chipping Sodbury Scout Group

Today was the last day in the airport. Today was the last chance to get to Lukla and again the weather let everyone down. The alternative option was to go to the Annapurna area instead so the group boarded a flight to Pokhara in the early afternoon. They then had lunch sat by the lake before a 50 minute bus journey in a very basic coach before actually starting to walk. Due to the late start, the trekking went on well into the evening. The group arrived at the tea house in Pothana and got settled in for the evening. The facilities were better than expected.
